Privacy Policy

How this website handles information, cookies and your privacy.

Radha Krishna Law College (“the College”, “we”, “us”) respects the privacy of everyone who visits rklawcollege.online. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and how it is protected. It is intended to be read with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.

1. Information we collect

You can browse this website without giving us any personal information. You do not need an account to read notices, download notice PDFs, view the gallery or use search.

  • Anonymous usage statistics. To understand which pages are useful, the website counts page views and the number of visitors per day. These counts are stored as totals only; we do not store your IP address, name or any other identifying detail with them. Automated bots are excluded.
  • Search terms. Words typed into the website’s search box are counted, without any link to who searched, so that we can improve navigation.
  • Information you send us. If you email or call the College, we receive only what you choose to share (for example your name, email address, phone number and the content of your message), and use it only to respond to you.
  • Staff accounts. Authorised College staff who sign in to the website’s administration area have an account with their name, email address and role. Their administrative actions are recorded in an activity log for security and accountability.

2. Cookies

This website uses a small number of cookies that are necessary for it to work:

  • a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie, which protect forms and keep staff signed in to the administration area;
  • a visitor cookie that only records that you have already been counted as a visitor today. It contains no personal information and expires at the end of the day.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share visitor data with advertisers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the public website will continue to work.

3. How we use information

  • to publish and improve the website and its notices;
  • to respond to your enquiries about admissions and other matters;
  • to keep the website secure and to prevent misuse.

We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the College.

4. Third-party services

  • Hosting. The website is hosted with a web hosting provider, which processes technical data (such as server logs) needed to deliver the website securely.
  • Fonts. Some fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; when a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers to fetch them.
  • External links. Notices, updates and links may lead to other websites (for example the Bar Council of India (BCI), CCS University, UGC or government portals). Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We may disclose information only where required by law, by an order of a court or competent authority, or where necessary to protect the safety of students, staff or the public.

6. Data security and retention

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to the administration area is restricted to authorised staff with individual accounts and role-based permissions. Information is kept only as long as it is needed for the purposes described above or as required by law.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have shared with the College, or withdraw consent you have given. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

8. Children

This website provides general information about the College and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has shared personal information with us may contact us to have it removed.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the current policy.
